Why do we need a 20 minute briefing ?
Most visitors to the simulator are amazed at its accuracy, we find it takes a little while to get comfortable and
relaxed, during this time we explain how the simulator works to put you at ease with all the instruments & buttons.

Can I take Photos and Video?
Photography and Video is encouraged, if you wish you can submit them for possible inclusion on this website.
Please ask before taking Flash Photographs as these can be a real fright during take-off and landing !

I am a flight simulator enthusiast, can I fly the simulator alone ?
The Simulator is not available for solo flight, all flights will be accompanied by your friendly co-pilot. If you and a friend wish to act as Captain and
First Officer the instructor will occupy the jump seat, he will offer as much or as little help as you require . . . Leaving you to your own fate if required :)

Do I have to use real weather ?
Real Weather fed into the simulator greatly enhances your experience , experiencing Sunset / Sunrise above the clouds on our visual system can be quite spectacular, Weather is usually calm in our experiences, but real weather of the day is available if you require it.

Should I fly at Dawn Dusk, Day or Night ?
This is entirely your choice, the simulator can be set to anytime or season regardless of what time of day it is in reality. At Dawn Dusk and Night Runway lights will be
visible making it easier to spot the airport ! On our longer packages “Airline Experience” and “Captain for a Day” it is possible to experience a magical sunrise or sunset.

What happens if we run out of time to finish our Airline Experience or Captain for a Day package ?
Flights made on either of these packages are designed to fit within the allotted time, if your flight finishes early you will have the opportunity to fly the simulator for the rest of your time, if a set flight is longer than your allotted time, it will be flown to completion at no extra cost.

Can I smoke in the Simulator ?
For safety reasons there is a no smoking policy in the simulator. As from July 1st 2007 UK Law prohibits smoking in the Simulator as it is classed as a public work place
Smoking is allowed outside of the building during breaks.

What should I wear ? Although there is ventilation in the simulator it can get quite warm, light clothing is recommended.
