These terms and conditions are applicable to all customers using 747 Simulator.

Please read and understand them carefully before purchasing a Voucher,

making a booking or redeeming a pre-purchased Voucher.

Purchasing a Gift Voucher

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 calendar months from the date of purchase and are not redeemable for any other service or value. Gift vouchers are fully transferable between persons (provided you inform us of the change of name) and can be upgraded to a higher experience at the time of booking.

By buying or redeeming a gift voucher, you acknowledge that the simulator experience is dependent on certain factors beyond the control of 747 Simulator and agree that 747 Simulator shall not be liable for the cancellation, postponement or alteration of any simulator session for reasons beyond our reasonable control including for weather-related reasons, mechanical failure or otherwise.

The total liability of 747 Simulator for any claim whatsoever in connection with the simulator experience shall be limited to the price paid for the experience / gift voucher.

Gift Voucher Postage

All gift vouchers will be posted out First Class using Royal Mail. Please allow up to 10 days after purchase for delivery. If you require your voucher sooner than this, you can request special delivery for an additional fee. 747 Simulator cannot be held liable for any items that are lost or delayed due to the postal service.

Gift Voucher Expiry Date

747 Simulator Gift Vouchers must be booked & completed on or before the expiry date printed on the voucher. Beyond this date the voucher will cease to be valid. If your gift voucher is due to expire and you are unable to find a suitable date in the diary within the expiry date you can extend your voucher expiry date for a further six months for a fee of £25.00.

Cancelling a Gift Voucher

Should you decide to cancel your Gift Voucher within 14 days an administration fee of £25 will be applicable.  Cancelled gift vouchers should be returned to 747 Simulator at the address on our website.  Upon receipt, the amount paid less this £25 will be refunded. After 14 days refunds will be given only in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of 747 Simulator.

Rescheduling appointments

You are required to give us 48 hours notice if you wish to change your booking. If a booking is missed without notice no refund will be given.  If using a Gift Voucher it will become void.

Time Slots

It can be difficult to always get bookings of differing lengths to fit in with each other, on the odd occasion we may have to move your booking or ask you to wait, usually by no more than 30 minutes. We will phone or e-mail you of of any changes as early as possible. If you are running late please telephone us as soon as possible, we will try to accommodate any changes to the timings but please note your booking may be cut short without refund.

Simulator Availability

If 747 Simulator is unable to provide a Flight Simulator experience due to circumstances beyond our control including, but not restricted to, Simulator failure, Instructor illness. Pandemic, War or Act of God we will rebook customers on a mutually acceptable date. No refund will be offered.

In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary to postpone ALL bookings, under these circumstances and once the crisis has passed, another date will be offered. However for any delay beyond 7 days we will freeze the validity date and extend it for the same amount of time as 747 Simulator is closed.

If the experience is reduced in whole or in part due to your late arrival, motion sickness or non scheduled (toilet) breaks, 747 Simulator will not reschedule the flight or provide a refund for time not used in the Simulator.

If there are technical problems with the simulator that we feel significantly reduces the duration of the experience then the participant will have their finishing time in the simulator extended to enable them to complete the experience. 

If there are technical problems with the Simulator that we feel significantly reduces the quality of the experience we will either, extend the finishing time in the Simulator if the fault can be repaired within a reasonable time, or offer an alternative date to complete the flight should the fault be more complex.

747 Simulator will not be liable for travelling or other expenses if participant is asked to return.

Restrictions on Participation

747 Simulator Experiences involve a degree of physical mobility and may not be suitable for some people. Please check with us at the time of booking if you have any concerns.

All participants will be supervised by a Flight Instructor who will be seated in the right-hand (First Officers seat)

If you suffer from Colour blindness you can still fly but some Flight displays may be harder to read.

All participants must be ...

• 10 years of age or older;

• Supervised by an adult if under the age of 16;

• Be in good health and free from heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by the simulator. (Pacemakers are permitted),

• Be dressed appropriately in comfortable clothing and flat shoes;

• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Smoking or Vaping is not allowed in the Simulators

• All participants take part at their own risk.

Inclusivity

We welcome the participation of disabled people at 747 Simulator.  As our Flightdeck is real it was not designed with disabled access. We wish to ensure that disabled customers are given every opportunity to participate where possible. In view of the vast amount of disabilities and abilities we would ask that you contact usfor advice on the acessibility of the Simulator for your specific needs.

Prices

Prices displayed on our website are correct to the best of our knowledge and are the most up to date, if unsure please “refresh” the pages as some browsers retain old pages for faster access.

Prices advertised on adverts or leaflets may differ to prices on the website depending when published. We reserve the right to honour the discounted prices advertised in publications other than those listed on our website.

Guests

Participants are permitted to bring up to two guests to share their 747 experience. Guests will sit in the “Observer seats’ behind the Captain and First Officer seats in the Children under the age of 10 should be supervised by a non-flying adult.

Guest behaviour

We expect guests to follow our instructions for everyone’s safety and enjoyment, although being real and robust the controls, switches, knobs etc. are not easily replaced as most 747s are now retired. We ask you to respect this and follow your instructors advise when using the Simulator. Any anti-social or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to cancel the experience and you would be asked to leave immediately without re-fund.

Proof of Identity

Because our simulator is a real Flightdeck and can be operated the same as the aircraft, you may be required by us to prove your identity. If we request it, please bring a piece of photo ID, passport or driving license, when you come for your experience.

Complaints

We are sure you will have a wonderful time, however If you have any problem during your visit, please make us aware as soon as possible to allow us the chance to put matters right.

If your complaint was not resolved on the day of your visit please contact us via Telephone or e-mail stating your voucher number / Booking date, participant name and any other booking details, and we will be happy to investigate the matter. 

Car Park

We do not have a Car park.  Parking is on street and as such 747 Simulator shall not be held responsible for any accident theft or damage.  Currently there are no parking restrictions other than some driveways and dropped kerbs, please be respectful of these.

• We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information.

Legal

The customer will not hold 747 Simulator responsible for any personal injury, death, loss or damage to property or inconvenience unless caused by gross negligence by one 747 Simulators officers, agents or employees.

The customer accepts that they must comply with all safety demonstrations, rules and safety procedures. If the customer does not comply, the customer shall accept all responsibility and may be liable for any injury to self or others, loss or damage to property or inconvenience.

The customer accepts that subsequent damage to a simulator by taking any food/drink or banned substance into the simulator will result in the customer being liable for any damage.

The customer does not hold the right to distribute, copy or re sell any training manuals course structures or intellectual property of 747 Simulator to any third party.

Any costs the customer incurs from travel or accommodation will not be reimbursed or subsidised by 747 Simulator for any reason whatsoever.
